5 plans for the rest of this week:
- go BB gunning (like paintballing, except with plastic BBs) with my cousin, Kelvin
- have dinner with one of my godmothers
- go on a deep dive for my A-license with Joe and Keith
- watch another two basketball playoff games between four of HK’s division basketball teams
- go shopping for Adwin’s CD, my notebook RAM, and some shirts with Kelvin
So far, I’ve been staying with Kelvin since he wanted to spend this week showing me around Mong Kok (where his place with his wife is) and I’ve had a chance to go exploring the streets by myself yesterday. It seems he and his friends (from being a basketball team/group since forever) hang out almost every single day and they also dine together very frequently. They all live in the area so meeting up, eating out, and/or hanging out at someone’s place is very convenient. It’s actually sort of like a fellowship. And of course, I’m the odd one out since I don’t know anyone except my cousin and his wife, so their time together always feels a little awkward for me, but I keep out of sight and to myself, NOT UNLIKE BUSTER. If only I had a brother to call… “Hey bro-other…” *rub rub rub*
