5 courses I pre-enrolled in for Fall 2009 (2A for me):
- Probability (STAT 230): I assume this will be concerning the kinds of stats stuff I did in GR. 11 IB
- Mathematics of Finance (ACTSC 231): This is a prerequisite to take the rest of the path in Actuarial Sciences; I am thinking this will prepare me with knowledge on how financial stuff (very vague, I know) changes according to mathematics (also vague, give me a break–I know nothing yet!).
- Linear Algebra 2 (MATH 235): Continuation of the Algebra I’m taking right now. Abstract stuff, lots of theorems and proofs. Sort of fun, once I wrapped my head around some of it.
- Introduction to Financial Accounting: I do dislike Accounting but I guess it’s a useful tool so it makes sense that this is mandatory (I wouldn’t take it if it weren’t).
- Organizational Behavior (BUS 228): Not sure what this is about, but I’m thinking it’s got to do with how a company works on the inside.
