I am excited! I just got back from UFC 106 with Aaron at McGinnis. There were definitely some good fights and maybe one or two less entertaining fights.
5 reasons why today is notable:
- my long awaited mother is returning from her mini-vacation in Hong Kong where she visited family and friends, after a long and stressful summer of working hard on a critical project at work
- it will mark the end of the first weekend I’ve spent here alone of this year (both Sam and Taylor have left for the weekend)
- I will have my triumphant return to Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly after a month or so of checking out Elevation and being absent in Toronto
- finally, I am getting a chance to write up an info post before the usual Monday posting that I’ve tried to do, as opposed to being late by several days as I’ve done for the past little busy while
- I will get a chance to get completely caught up with my notes, and watch some Firefly with Amy. Nerd (and mushy) heaven
