Not entirely excited about Statistics (I did not have fun in Statistics 231 because I spent all my lectures laughing at Jock MacKay instead of learning from him), but how bad could it be? So far, this has been a slow start (but we’ve only been through the first set of intro classes, so things are only going to pick up from here). As a result, nothing truly noteworthy so far, but because of the randomly generated teams, I’m now getting the chance to talk to some other people (that I’ve seen in classes for years now) that I’ve never spoken to before. Woo.
As an aside, I am currently trying to get myself into Japanese 1. Specifically, the section taught by the instructor named “Fumie Shimoda”. Japanese? Check. Lady? Check (I think). This can only end well.
