4 things I’ve decided to check out:
- Launchy (revisited):
I haven’t been using Windows very much lately but I’ve decided to start using it a little more (she’s awfully lonely these days) and with that, I’ve got raunchy Launchy on call for all my (re)productivity needs. ToDoist and gCal plugins are also running for my organization pleasure. I am hoping such things making it easier to schedule and stuff would make me get more into the habit of doing said scheduling. - Scholarships:
I don’t know about you, but free money for a good purpose is never a bad thing. I’ve decided to sign up with StudentAwards.com and get the latest hook ups on info about scholarships and stuff (as per Shivon’s advice). Most people aren’t too worried about schooling funds and neither am I. Providence has raised me to the tender age of seventeen and I see no reason to doubt His anytime soon. At the same time, I do have to do my part in diligently looking for ways for God to work wonders. - A Concert in November
I was invited and am thrilled to go to a Mae, Anberlin, Motion City Soundtrack, and Metro Station concert on a Sunday night in November and obviously, I can’t pass this opportunity up! Mae. Anberlin. Motion. City. — well, you get the idea. I’m hoping to go get some nice keeps too, like a shirt, or buttons, or whatever else I can be suckered into. - Waterloo
I’ve got to go visit their campus some time since I really would like to know what the place is like before I apply there and/or go there for schooling. I think I’ve come to the thoroughly satisfying conclusion that I will stay in Ontario, Canada for my schooling. I’m almost sure I will be heading to Waterloo for a math honours degree (if I am accepted). I think one day I just figured “Okay, that’s where I’m going.” from overwhelming compulsion. Never having put too much thought to the subject, I’m now quite happily married to the thought of going to UW for math. Not much to say except, “I told you so.” I’d always figured I would just know when the time came and now I do.
