5 things that give me headaches:
- history lessons
- phone numbers
- apple juice
- slushies
- words like “gerund” and “fecund”
Today was an interesting day. For starters, I got to actually do a Chemistry lab I planned myself, and so far (I’m about half-done) it’s turning out nicely. There’s not much else to say except that I love it when things just work.
Second, I wrote a Biology test with massive pre-test hype (read: “HOMG, what is that?!”) and it turned out pretty decently actually. I’d passed up on studying and opted to watch the first half of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (the movie) with Kristen on Sunday night. Seeing as how I spent all of last night writing up another Chemistry lab, I ended up writing a test covering four chapters with about two hours of review in total. That might seem alright (if you’re talking wussy textbooks) or outrageous (if you’re talking wussy review) but half of that review was done at home last night (I slept at 12:30 in the morning) while Gtalking it up, and the other half I did today at lunch with my study-buddy (Imran the Quizzical) in the yearbook office so all in all, it was time well invested.
Anyway, I am taking a bit of a break tonight (after the excessive working last night) so I’ll probably play some games (time to really test out Half Life 2: Deathmatch, thanks for the heads-up Adwin!), read some of The Tempest, and e-socialize on the Intartubz a bit.
