I was browsing through what kinds of scholarships cropped up in my StudentAwards account and I came across this one. Now, I’m probably not the best authority on academic perseverance and diligence, but honestly, we’re giving people school-money for this?! Come on! And look at the award amounts! You’re telling me snapping a hot picture of myself with a girl, decked out in duct tape will get me more money than coming out on top in a 2000 word essay contest?! Or being in the top 20% of my class? Or having consistently served my community? *sigh* Kinda wish I had a date and 50 rolls of duct tape right about now.
