I think one of the worst feelings available to anyone who wants some of that would be the feeling of regret. Most other feelings you can do something about. For example, anger can manifest into fights, or happiness into laughter. Frustration can very well bloom into rants and sadness into weeping. But regret, there’s very little one can do about that itself. Anyway, I’m not regretting anything at the moment (nothing specific or particularly an-universal anyway) but this goes out to all those too scared to act. Don’t (not) do something regrettable while you listen to “Come Around” by Rhett Miller.
Also, let the double-ended interpretations and God-versus-lover confusions abound (see More for the lyrics).

I’m dressed all in blue, and I’m remembering you,
And the dress you wore when you broke my heart.
I’m depressed upstairs, and I’m remembering where,
And when, and how, and why, you have to go so far…
Am I gonna be lonely for the rest of my life?
Am I gonna be lonely for the rest of my life?!
I’m gonna be lonely for the rest of my life!
Unless you come around–so come around.
I’m dressed all in white, and I remember the night
You came onto me, and opened up my heart.
I was hollow then, ’til you filled me in.
Now I’m empty again, I should have never let it start.
[Now] No one else can fix me,
Although sometimes my heart tricks me
Into thinking someone else will do.
You are the only one… You are the only one.
I’m dressed all in blue, and I’m remembering you,
And the dress you wore when you broke my heart.
