5 aspirations I entertain on a regular basis:

  • Amateur Publication:
As can be seen by my plethora of entries here on the P.Pole, I have a certain proclivity for thinking in words and text. In terms of quality, I think I tend to ebb and flow quite a bit. Looking back on some past entries, I wonder how I could have possibly thought that worthwhile to note/write at the time, but sometimes I marvel (just a bit) at my past clevers. As for quantity, I haven’t been able to write nearly as much lately due to school work and badminton, but the latter has finished while the former will be done with soon as well. I’ve got a few ideas pent up and will probably take some time during my exam weeks to write em out.
  • Space Traveler
  • Medical Specialist:
This has been unto a sine graph for me. As I think more about careers and stuff, I’ve started to really consider going into medicine. I’m not necessarily hoping to become a doctor (please, I don’t really think I have the heart or the ability), but maybe a researcher or a developer of sorts. I am actually doing quite well in Biology and Chemistry and enjoy both (even though I have quite a few “WTF did we just learn?!” moments in Chemistry). Perhaps, perhaps perhaps. Either way, I would go to Waterloo (with the right circumstances in place) for Honours Healths or I would go to MacMaster for their Health Sciences program (if I am accepted).
  • Inventing:
I like coming up with ways, complicated or otherwise, to solve problems. I use a lot of little “tweaks” to make little daily tasks or annoyances less annoying, so maybe I’d be good at publishing these ideas on a large scale.
  • Drawing/Cartooning
I am not particularly stellar as an artist, but I’m not terrible at it either. Couple this with my consistently cranking cranium and I think I could probably have quite a lark sketching out some zany ideas (for the lulz of course, no one’s going pay me for it).
